Sales Manager Instrumentation Service Sales & Operations Manager – AsiaSales Manager. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee our Instrumentation Service Sales and Operations across Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing operations, and leading a team to ensure customer satisfaction and business success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the instrumentation industry and a proven track record in sales and operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the Asia region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.
    • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and operations team.
    • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes accountability and professional growth.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure profitability.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers and suppliers to maximize profitability.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and operational metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in sales and operations management within the instrumentation industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the Asia region as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of instrumentation products and services.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the Asia region.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
